To be an eligible purchaser for the purposes of the ‘Win A Dublin Home’ (“WDH”) draw (hereinafter the “the Draw”), the purchaser must be a natural person of the age of 18 years or more.
Subject to the rules of Balscadden Football Club (hereinafter called “the Club”) the purchaser of a ticket for the Draw will be a social member of the Club for the period from 1 June 2019 to 31 August 2019 (the “Ticket Holder”);
The cost of a ticket for the Draw is €100 (the “WDH Ticket”) excluding booking fee.
The maximum number of WDH Tickets available for sale is 7,000 (seven thousand).
Only those who have purchased a WDH Ticket are eligible to participate in the Draw.
The promoters of the Draw (being the committee members of the Club), their professional advisers or those involved with operating the Draw’s website or administrating the Draw, are not eligible to become a Ticket Holder.
By purchasing the WDH Ticket, the purchaser will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Each Ticket Holder shall retain a copy of these terms and conditions.
Each Ticket Holder will be eligible to win a maximum of one of the prizes available as part of the Draw. Information about all prizes in the Draw can also be found on winadublinhome.ie.
The Club is established and conducted purposes not connected with gaming, wagering or lotteries.
Any public notice or announcement about the Draw is a notice to members of the Club or to other persons concerned.
All members of the Club participating in the Draw are subject to the rules of the Club.
The purpose of the Draw is for the development of playing pitches at Balscadden, County Dublin for the senior section of the Club.
Any disputes, claims, controversies, difference or questions of any nature arising out of, relating to or in connection with the Draw shall be determined by arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Dublin, Ireland. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. The Arbitration Tribunal shall consist of a single arbitrator appointed by agreement between the parties or, failing agreement between the parties within 30 days after a request for arbitration is made by any party, appointed on the application of any party by the President for the time being of the Law Society of Ireland.
The Trustees and members of the Executive Committee of the Club, including the promoters of the Draw shall not be liable for any loss suffered by any member(s) of the Club participating in the draw.
The Club will not be liable for any loss suffered by a Ticket Holder as a result of incomplete entry or failed computer communication or for any loss suffered as a result of the Draw’s website utilised for entry into the Draw.
The Club does not accept responsibility for entries which they do not receive due to failures in computer systems, other malfunctions, high Internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults or any other reason.
These terms and conditions shall not create nor be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between the Ticket Holder and the Club.
The Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason. Where any term or condition is modified, the Club will notify Ticket Holders of the nature of the change by publishing them on winadublinhome.ie. Ticketholders are at all times bound by the terms and conditions as published on www.winadublinhome.ie.
The organisers of the Draw and the Club shall not derive any personal profit from the Draw.
The Draw will be held on 29 June 2019 at 20.00 at the Balscadden Inn, Balsadden, Dublin.
The Club reserves the right to change the date of the Draw due to any unforeseen circumstances.
The winner(s) will be drawn by an independent person. The winner(s) will be notified within 20 working days of the closing date of the Draw. The winner’s(s’) name will be announced on the Draw’s website and relevant social media platforms.
23.1. In the event that the club cannot contact the winner(s) within 28 days after the Draw, the prize will be awarded to a new winner. In this event, any subsequent draw will take place in accordance with these terms and conditions until a winner is established.
23.2. If the writing is illegible on the ticket and no contact details are given, a new winner will be selected on the day of the Draw.
23.3. By purchasing the WDH Ticket for the Draw, winner(s) confirm their agreement to take part in any associated publicity without additional payment or permission.
23.4. Winners acknowledge that should they win, they will not announce their win to the press, other media or on social media until contacted by Club officials.
The first prize is a 2 Bed, terraced house located at Cloch Choirneal, Balrothery, Balbriggan, County Dublin plus €10,000 (ten thousand euro) (“the First Prize”). The winner(s) will be registered as the owner(s) of this property.
The First Prize may not be substituted for a cash alternative or used against an alternative product. The prizes are non-transferable and only consist of what is listed on the Draw’s website.
The winner(s) of the house will be responsible for all costs involved in the conveyancing and registration of the property.
The Club will not be liable for any loss suffered due to any issues in the construction of the house.
The Club does not make any representation or warranty as to the structural or cosmetic or any other condition of the property that is the subject of the First Prize.
The winner(s) of the First Prize of the Draw shall accept the fit out and finish of the house, as provided by the builder on completion of the house.
After the Draw has taken place and the house has been registered in the name of the winner(s), the Club will have no direct or indirect financial interest in the said house and it will be held free from any encumbrances in favour of the Club.
The winning WDH ticket and winning Ticket Holder will be subject to verification by the Club and their agents. The winner(s) agree to forward a copy of their passport or driving license, proof of address and validation of payment to the Club and their agents to prove their identity.
The Club shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations if caused by factors outside its control.
These Terms and Conditions may be amended and / or suspended or cancelled without prior notice, due to unforeseeable circumstances or any other reason that is beyond the control of the event host which could endanger registrants.
The implementation, conduction and verification of this draw will be fully supervised by an independent adjudicator.
The minimum number of Ticket Holders required for the Draw to take place is 4000 (four thousand) (“the Minimum Number of Ticket Holders”). If, within 48 hours of the Draw taking place, the number of Ticket Holders is less than the Minimum Number of Ticket Holders, the Draw shall be cancelled or postponed as the Club sees fit.
Any person who purchases a Win A Dublin Home ticket between 3 December 2018 and 1 January 2019, will be entered into a bonus draw to win 10 tickets for the Win A Dublin Home draw. The bonus draw will take place on 29 June 2019. It will run independently to, but under the same terms and conditions as, the Win A Dublin Home draw. The winner(s) of the bonus draw will be automatically assigned 10 extra tickets for the Win A Dublin Home draw. The prize is non-transferable.
By accepting these terms and conditions all Ticket Holders (i.e. the data subjects) agree that personal data shall be collected and processed by the Club and stored on the Club’s database and used for the administration of its ongoing relationship with Ticket Holders in connection with the Draw. Personal information will be held for no longer than necessary. All personal data will be erased within 30 days of the Draw having completed. This 30-day period may be extended if legally required to do so or if it is reasonably necessary to meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce the Terms and Conditions. Personal data will not be used for purposes other than as contemplated in these terms and conditions, including properly conducting the Draw and in subsequent communications.
These Terms and Conditions supersede all other prior terms and conditions, understandings, arrangements or agreements, whether verbal or written, in relation to the Promotion.
The terms and conditions herein are governed by Irish Law.

The early bird draw will take place on 29 June 2019. It will run independently to, but under the same terms and conditions as, the Win A Dublin Home draw. Any person who purchases a Win A Dublin Home ticket on or before 2 December 2018, will be entered into the early bird draw and have the chance to win flights to North America.
The normal price per ticket is €100 (as provided in our T&Cs). However, starting at 10pm on Thursday 22nd November 2018, Balscadden FC are running a “Black Friday two tickets for €150” online only promotion. This promotion will expire on Saturday 24th November 2018 at 10am.
